Bon Bon

Bon Bon is the kind of dog who simply melts into you. She loves with a depth that feels almost impossible for a dog to contain, and she gives that love freely and completely. She is my constant companion, my comfort, and my little shadow. She has a peacefulness about her that reaches far beyond her temperament, but it is something I feel every time she is beside me. I am incredibly grateful for her, and I genuinely cannot imagine my life without her in it.

She is equally wonderful with our children. Bon Bon is gentle and sweet, and happily goes along with whatever adventure they have planned, including spending time in the PeeWee ring while our youngest children learn the joy of handling and showing dogs. She is patient, willing, and wonderfully connected to her people.

At home, Bon Bon is snuggly, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure. She gets along beautifully with every dog she meets and lives peacefully alongside our cats, often barely giving them a second glance. She simply coexists with everyone. There is very little drama in Bon Bon’s world! She’s a truly peaceful dog who brings a sense of calm wherever she goes.

She is also a wonderful mother. As a daughter of our beloved Catalina, Bon Bon represents an important part of our foundation, and she has already given us two very special daughters of her own: Sapphire and Adelaide, both sired by Lapis. Watching pieces of Bon Bon continue into the next generation is one of the most meaningful parts of our breeding program.

Bon Bon nurtures my heart in a way only she can. She reminds me why I love these dogs so deeply and why I am so grateful to build this program around them. Bon Bon isn’t simply one of our females, she is my best friend, my soul dog, and one of the greatest gifts this journey has given me. Shamayim Acres wouldn’t be the same without her!
