Laddie

Laddie loves people and he firmly believes that everyone he meets is his new best friend. He greets each person with enthusiasm and a happy heart, and his favorite place in the world is wherever his family happens to be. He adores children, loves to play, and is absolutely convinced that he is a lap dog. He will happily insist on climbing directly into your lap for a snuggle, followed by an enthusiastic face lick whether you were ready for it or not!

He is equally happy romping around the farm with the other dogs, playing fetch or chase, or simply hanging out with his family. Laddie has that wonderful balance of being fun and playful while also being well mannered and eager to please. He has participated in 4-H obedience and showmanship with our children, and this year he has also competed in Trail Dog, taking every new experience completely in stride.

His willingness to work alongside his people is one of the things we love most about him. Laddie wants to be involved, wants to learn, and genuinely enjoys having a job to do with the people he loves.

Laddie is an AKC Champion, and we are excited to continue adding titles to the end of his name in the coming months. He is truly a versatile Miniature American Shepherd, and we look forward to proving that versatility through new adventures and accomplishments with him.

Most of all, though, Laddie is simply the best boy. He has the kind of temperament we treasure in our program, a dog who can step into the show ring, learn alongside our children, explore new activities, and then come home and curl up in your lap as though he has never been anything but a giant baby. We cannot brag on this special boy enough, and we are so excited for everything still ahead of him.
