From the moment Diamond was born, there was simply something about her. She was love at first sight. Out of Catalina’s beautiful Gemstone litter, Diamond was the little girl my heart kept coming back to, and I chose her very early on. Somehow, before I could have known what the future would hold, I already knew she was meant to be my lifetime companion and one of my heart dogs.
Life with Diamond
I had the incredible privilege of raising Diamond alongside my youngest baby, so the two of them quite literally grew up together. From those early puppy days, she became woven into the rhythm of our family and into my everyday life. She has always had a deeply loving nature, with just enough sass to keep us smiling. She is affectionate, devoted, and happiest when she is close to her person.
Diamond is especially meaningful to us because she represents the next generation of Catalina’s legacy here at Shamayim Acres. She is one of the two daughters we chose to keep from our Gemstone litter, and watching her grow into the beautiful young dog she is becoming has been incredibly rewarding.
I am so excited for everything that lies ahead for this special girl. I look forward to watching her step into the show ring, explore dog sports, and continue growing into her own. And, if all goes according to plan, I have dreams of one day pairing her with our beautiful Caspian as part of the future we are building here at Shamayim Acres.
Diamond was chosen by my heart from the very beginning. Now I cannot wait to see where that little girl takes us.
